Welcome to Thyme & Plaice, a blegendslog about food and eating. We are Becky and Theo, two London-based postgrad students, of European Studies and Latin American Studies respectively. We’re firm believers that food can reveal a lot about a person or a place, stories that are too often forgotten in the gluten-free, low-carb world of contemporary food culture.

We’re vegetarians, so as you might expect, this blog will focus mostly on vegetarian food. We hope that the stories we tell will interest you nonetheless, whatever you like to eat.
